I am participating in the Project GRAD 5K because I fully believe in the power of supporting and guiding students on their path to their college dreams. I have been fortunate enough to work for Project GRAD since 2011, where I have been able to see the effects of 1:1 advising, after school programming, summer institutes and most of all the rapport and relationship that the Advisors form with their students. I wholeheartedly believe that Project GRAD can continue to make a difference in so many students’ lives, and continue to support their postgrad plans. 

Project GRAD holds a very special place in my heart because this is where I found my passion for counseling, advising and supporting first generation students. I have gained so much knowledge, experience and opportunities by being a part of such an amazing organization.
